Hard rule in my studio: no two rings are ever the same.
Ring 1 — rhodochrosite on a wide silver band, kept plain so the pink stripes do all the talking.

This band was flat silver until I pressed a leaf into it.
Ring 2 — teal kyanite in a crown setting on that leaf-pressed band. Different band, different texture, different setting every time — because I make each one by hand and I'd be bored otherwise.
The turquoise came with a streak of brown matrix. I kept it.
Ring 3 — turquoise with three little Paraiba garnets set beside it to keep it company.
