Two PSS teams. One World Championship. And one opportunity to come aboard. ⛵🌏

This November, Pacific Sailing School is taking two teams to the 2026 J/24 World Championship in Melbourne, including our Women’s Team.

Training is underway, the crews are coming together and the countdown to Worlds is on.

Our Mixed Team is proudly supported by Offshored, and we’re now looking for the right partner to get behind our Women’s Team on their journey to the World Championship.

For an organisation passionate about women in sport, participation, development or sailing, this is an opportunity to become part of the campaign, from training on Sydney Harbour all the way to the World Championship start line.

Interested in coming aboard?

👉 Contact Pacific Sailing School to talk to us about partnering with the Women’s Team.

This is what learning to sail actually looks like. ⛵

Not sitting on the sidelines watching someone else do it.

You’re trimming sails. Taking the helm. Learning manoeuvres. Making decisions. And discovering how the boat responds when you do something differently.

Little by little, the things that seemed confusing on your first lesson start to make sense.

And somewhere along the way, you stop feeling like someone who’s learning about sailing and start feeling like a sailor.

👉 See where sailing could take you. Learn to sail with Pacific Sailing School.

World Championships aren’t won on race day. They’re built in sessions like these. ⛵🔥

Another training session in the books as our PSS crews continue preparing for the 2026 J/24 World Championship in Melbourne.

Every session is an opportunity to get a little sharper: better communication, cleaner manoeuvres, faster sail handling and a crew that works more instinctively together.

And we’re incredibly grateful to have Offshored supporting one of our teams on the journey to Worlds.

Having partners who believe in our sailors and in creating pathways from learning to sail through to high-level racing helps make campaigns like this possible.

Next stop: Melbourne. 🌏🏆

Want more opportunities to get on a racing crew? ⛵🏁

Learning to handle a spinnaker can make you a much more useful crew member and open the door to a whole new side of sailing.

Our practical Spinnaker Course will help you build confidence with the sail handling and teamwork involved in downwind sailing, including hoists, gybes and drops.

If racing is where you want sailing to take you next, these are exactly the kinds of skills you’ll want in your toolkit.

📅 Next course: 18 October
📍 Sydney Harbour

Learn the skill. Join the crew. See where it takes you.

Every sailor was a beginner once. ⛵

They didn’t know all the terminology. They weren’t sure which rope did what. And taking the helm probably felt a little intimidating the first time.

Then they learned.

These are the moments we love seeing at Pacific Sailing School: Students getting hands-on, asking questions, making mistakes, figuring it out and gradually realising, “Hey, I can actually do this.”

You don’t need sailing experience to start.

You just need to get aboard.

👉 Ready to learn? Come sail with us.

Ready to add a little more colour to your sailing? 🌈⛵

There’s nothing quite like getting the spinnaker up, filling it with breeze and feeling the boat accelerate downwind.

Our Spinnaker Course is designed to give you hands-on experience with one of sailing’s most exciting (and useful) skills.

Learn how to work as a crew through hoists, trims, gybes and drops, with practical training on Sydney Harbour.

If you’ve completed your crewing training and you’re wondering what to learn next, this could be it.

From training on Sydney Harbour to the J/24 World Championship. 🌍⛵

The work is well and truly underway.

Our PSS crews are back on the water, training towards the 2026 J/24 World Championship in Melbourne this November, building speed, sharpening manoeuvres and learning how to work together when every second counts.

For some of our sailors, the journey started right here at Pacific Sailing School.

Now? They’re training to race against some of the world’s best J/24 crews.

There’s plenty of work still to come, and we’ll be sharing the journey as we get closer to the start line.
