One of my biggest projects I have worked on in a while.

An adjustable beaded Tie. Yes you heard it - adjustable!

I have implemented a mechanism that allows the wearer to wind up the tie to shorten it to their desired length for the perfect fit with their torso length.

The design was created free-form from the bottom of the tip up to the top, then the "knot" casing which is double sided with a hollow middle to hide the rolled up tie.

The tie has button-hole elastic to go around the collar/neck which is fastened by buttons on each side of the knot, which also doubles as the locking mechanism for the wire roll to secure the length.

I already have plans for my next tie design as this was a lot of fun to build. **testitch

Love the mix of Czech beads and Myuiki beads for slight variance in bead size to give a knitted-like texture. The colours are beautiful especially in natural light.

I am currently pet sitting a pair of budgies for a family friend while they are inbetween houses for the next year. And the 1st feather that dropped gave me an opportunity to make an adorable necklace pendant. I will gift it back to the owner so they get to carry a bit of their pet with them while they can't look after them.
