One of my favourite moments as a designer is when a client says, "I trust you."

Not because it gives me complete freedom, but because it opens the door to true collaboration.

Some of the most memorable pieces begin with curiosity rather than certainty. A conversation. An unexpected combination of colours. A willingness to explore possibilities.

Recently, that journey led to a pair of earrings featuring two extraordinary pearls that weren't perfectly matched, yet somehow belonged together. Rather than trying to make them identical, we celebrated their differences, pairing them with carefully chosen gemstones that revealed colours hidden within each pearl.

The result was something entirely unique. For me, that is where the magic lies. Not in perfection, but in creating a piece that could never belong to anyone else.

One of the things we love most about Australian sapphires is that they never seem to stand still.

Genesis was never designed as a trend collection. Every piece started with a feeling, a memory or a moment I wanted to capture.

For me, the collection is deeply personal. From the balance of pink and champagne tones to the organic curves and proportions, each design was created to feel emotional, wearable and lasting.

Each piece offers its own interpretation of that story, whether expressed through a ring, pendant or statement piece. The pendants, in particular, have become a favourite. Pink diamonds have moved far beyond traditional jewellery.

Today, many who are drawn to them aren't looking for convention. They're looking for something that feels expressive, personal and emotionally resonant. Perhaps that's why Argyle Pink Diamonds continue to captivate. Their rarity is remarkable, but it's often their colour, warmth and individuality that create the strongest connection.

For so long, pink diamonds have been associated with delicate, feminine jewellery. Beautiful, certainly, but often expected to sit within a very particular aesthetic.

What I love about this piece is that it completely reimagines that idea.

The sculptural platinum form feels bold and unapologetically modern, while the Argyle pink diamonds bring softness, warmth and emotion to the design. Rather than being the focal point in a traditional sense, the diamonds become part of the overall composition.

Genesis was never designed to follow convention.

From the beginning, the collection was intended to feel personal. Emotional rather than formal. Intuitive rather than expected. Each piece explores the balance between softness and strength, bringing together organic forms, rare Argyle diamonds and a sense of individuality that feels deeply connected to the person wearing it.

For me, jewellery is at its most meaningful when it evokes a feeling. That idea sits at the heart of every piece in the Genesis collection.

There is a quiet elegance to champagne diamonds.

Their warm golden tones bring a softness and depth that feels deeply personal, especially when paired with the brightness of white diamonds.

Whether in a trilogy setting or surrounded by a delicate halo, the contrast creates something beautifully balanced.

Many of these remarkable stones originated from the Argyle Mine in Western Australia. Now closed, Argyle's champagne diamonds have become part of a finite chapter in Australian history.

Perhaps that's part of their appeal.

They feel connected to something larger than the piece itself, history, place and time.
