Rose walked into Mondial a decade ago and has been woven into the very fabric of this business. The warmth of a welcome, the care in every detail, the unseen work that makes it better.

To mark her ten-year anniversary, we took her out for dinner, and I made her a ring.

Rose has always loved wide, sparkly rings she can wear every day. Practical, modern, elegant. It's a style we've made in many versions: stacked rings you don't have to stack, dress rings for anyone who wants a splash of colour without a main centre stone, comfortable enough to never take off.

For Rose, it had to be blue. She adores anything nautical (including, one day, a rich lover with a yacht 😉), so hers is a row of diamonds held between two rows of blue sapphires.

It was important to mark this moment with meaningful jewellery, to show how grateful we are for all she brings to my beautiful business. A ring she can wear every day, carrying a decade of memories, trust, and everything we've built together.

Tuesday night at the 9th Diamond Guild Australia Jewellery Awards is one I’ll remember for a long time. To have Resonance recognised with a win made the evening even more special.

Resonance began as a piece I made just for me, and it became the most deeply personal thing I’ve ever created. It’s a reflection of everything I hold close, a piece I can’t wait to wear against my skin.

Every element was chosen with intention, and every detail holds meaning. To have that recognised, and to know people felt it too, is something I’ll never take for granted.

This win also belongs to my incredible jewellers and setters, who brought my vision to life with skill and care.

There’s nothing I love more than creating pieces that excite, inspire and resonate with all of you who are part of this journey with me.

Both of my designs are finalists in this year's Diamond Guild Australia Awards, which is very exciting. But the one I entered in the Fancy Colour section, is the one closest to my heart.

I designed it around a rough Argyle ch*****ne diamond I bought myself to celebrate taking over our family business two years ago. It's 5.47cts and 2.8 billion years old and I feel very lucky to own it.
All I knew was that I wanted this diamond to be the heart of the piece, and for it to be called Resonance. Everything else evolved from those two things.

Resonance is inspired by the idea that everything begins from a single source. The rare Argyle rough forms the centre, with a concentrated halo of white diamonds radiating outward before gradually dispersing across independently rotating rings.

Hidden Argyle coloured diamonds are revealed as the rings move, while an engraved toroidal field on the reverse symbolises continuous flow, connection and transformation.

Depending on my mood, I’ll wear it sparkle-out or Toroidal field out or a mix of both.
Fair warning: you'll be seeing a lot of it.

I spend my days asking customers what they love. This time, I asked myself, and answering honestly has been one of the most joyful things I've done in a long time.

‘Draped' is our entry into the Red Carpet category of the Diamond Guild Australia Awards.

It's inspired by my mother's sterling silver chainmail purse from the 1920s. As a girl, I'd open it just to watch the light move through the links, silver that felt and flowed more like soft material.

Then there's Tim, my closest friend since we were 15, who's always worn leather and chainmail like a second skin. Effortless. Unapologetic. Completely himself.

When I sat down to design this scarf, they were both there with me. The elegance I grew up with, and the people I've chosen to walk through life with.

Draped reimagines chainmail as a contemporary high jewellery textile. Meticulously handmade in 14ct yellow and white gold, hundreds of individually assembled links flow with the fluidity of fabric, designed to be worn draped across the body or open in multiple configurations. A graduated field of claw-set diamonds captures and releases light with every movement, blurring the boundaries between jewellery and couture in a bold, genderless statement of modern luxury.

Fingers crossed for the results.

It was so exciting talking with someone who loves jewellery and design as much as I do. So when visited Sydney for the first time, we sat down for a 50-minute conversation on the deeper side of jewellery.

This is the first time anyone has seen these.

Our leaf brooches from the Resonance collection. We revealed them at our gemstone evening because I wanted them to meet the people before they met the camera.

Held, tried on, passed around the room because some things you can’t understand from a photo, you have to feel the weight of them.

Resonance isn’t just a name I gave this collection, It’s what happens when you see yourself in something and recognise it.

Watching people in the room discover the one that was theirs without me saying a word. That's the collection right there.
