This is how we roll… 🔥⛏️

Bucket after bucket, sieve after sieve. We found a few sapphires, but nothing worthy of the faceting machine this time.

Not every day brings a gem, but every turn of the sieve keeps the dream alive. The next bucket could be the one. 💎.

From rough to radiant ✨

This 4.3ct Australian sapphire has completed its journey from a piece of rough found in the Gemfields to a beautifully faceted gemstone. Watching the colour and character emerge with every cut never gets old. 💚

This 24ct natural dark green pear from the Queensland Gemfields is a proper collector’s piece. She looks almost pure black at first glance, but catch her in the light and those deep forest green flashes come alive. Moody, mysterious and full of character.

Life lately 🌿💎

The last few months have been full in every possible way… long days, dusty boots, late afternoon puddle fishing, specking gravel for tiny flashes of colour, finding beautiful sapphires, incredible boulder opal specimen , spotting a massive python on the bus run, starting our homeschool journey, and making memories with family visiting from South Africa.

Sometimes the business side goes quiet because real life gets loud — but behind the scenes we’ve still been out here living this Gemfields life we dreamed about when we moved to Australia.

Grateful for the chaos, the gemstones, the sunsets, and the people we get to share it all with 💛
