When Farer sent me the gorgeous Marsden to showcase, my husband…aka El Grincho made it abundantly clear he wanted to give it a whirl.

Styled by him and his rather hairy 18cm-ish wrists, you can see he absolutely rocks the 35mm Marsden. He’ll be the first to admit he thought it would wear too small, but after some wrist time, his mind was completely changed.

Just goes to show that size doesn’t always matter. It’s all about how it feels and looks on your wrist.

Turns out wearing the DIRENZO watches DRZ02R Aerolite doesn’t actually make you lighter 😂

Put this belter of a watch through its paces on a lovely family hike yesterday. After all, the robust Incabloc anti-shock protection on the SW200-2 Sellita movement, the HV800 anti-scratch coating on the bracelet, the super-legible high-contrast dial, and the ergonomic, incredibly comfortable design made it the perfect choice for the day.

It handled everything brilliantly… apart from helping with my impromptu pull-up attempt 😂

Just remember, watches are for wearing. Get out there, make some memories, and enjoy them.

Felt fancy, won’t delete later.

Introducing the Vario Watch + Straps 🇸🇬 VERSA Reversible Single Time Watch (Automatic) aka the “Black Tux” to your feeds, and goodness me, this one does not disappoint.

Chic, unique, and extremely neat should be its tagline. Flip the case over and you’re greeted by a beautifully finished movement, and let me tell you, it’s one of the most satisfying actions to perform. I absolutely love that there’s a reversible automatic watch with its own identity in this price bracket (just shy of $500).

BUT buyers beware: you will fidget with this one constantly. As elegant as it looks, it’s just so much fun to use.

I’ll be writing an in-depth look at this beauty for Vincent Deschamps soon, but in the meantime, what do you think of this one?

First try of the Laco Uhrenmanufaktur Amazonas 39 in green. In the mountains. Thought it would be perfect to multitask by shooting some epic diver shots and blow dry my hair in the glorious mountain air with a suitably matching ensemble.

Didn’t expect a funky watch like this from Laco, but when I saw it back in April I specifically asked to give it a whirl. It’s just so cool.

Definitely feeling refreshed already. I really needed this break, it’s been too long since I’d been to the mountains. More to come. Writing a long form review for this watch and the summer adventures with it for Vincent Deschamps . What do you think?

Let’s talk watches and jewellery.

As a maximalist and lover of all things whimsical, I absolutely adore the joy and surprise of revealing a hidden timepiece concealed within a piece of jewellery, just like these stunning vintage NOS pieces from Montres alliant vintage et modernité - Vallée-de-Joux 🇨🇭.

But what I love even more is the story behind them. In the 19th century, it was considered improper and unladylike for a woman to openly check the time in public. So women found their own way around the rules. They wore watches hidden inside bracelets, pendants and brooches, allowing them to keep track of time discreetly while navigating a world that expected them not to.

I love the quiet rebellion of that. These weren’t just beautiful pieces of jewellery; they were a small act of independence worn on the wrist, around the neck, or pinned to a dress.

Today, we wear these pieces loudly and proudly. What was once hidden out of necessity can now be celebrated for both its beauty and its history. And if, in my own small way, I can encourage more women to explore the wonderful world of watches, collect what they love, and take up space in a hobby that hasn’t always felt welcoming to them, then that makes these pieces even more special.

Inner Child Activated 🕊️!

I absolutely adore a fun watch, especially when it combines a delightful complication like this Dove Detective edition, aka the RND003 x MR. BLACK by .

One of six designs created to celebrate the Chinese animation 80s cult classic The Black Cat Detective. The cartoon tackles some seriously heavy themes and definitely did not sugar-coat things for its younger audience. Gruesome, frightening, and completely bonkers at times, I can absolutely see why it has such a huge fan base!

The watch playfully integrates the Dove’s wing to help the wearer tell the time, using a retrograde jump-hour movement. It’s a clever bit of design that brings the character to life every single hour.

Buyers beware: you will have an enormous amount of fun watching this in action. So much so that you may find yourself unable to wait for the next hour and instead winding the crown just to see him flap into position again 😂

🛸 Back from the future 🛸 and in true space girl fashion, I present to you two of the latest offerings from : the DRZ 02R Aerolite in Gold and the limited edition Sandblasted model (limited to just 80 pieces).

The DRZ 02R takes everything I loved about the original and packages it into a sleek 39mm case with a beautifully integrated bracelet. The distinctive elliptical case design, inspired by vintage Bugatti automobiles, paired with the deep bowl-shaped sandwich dial creates an incredible sense of depth and wrist presence.

Inside beats the updated Sellita SW200-2 Elaboré movement with an impressive 65-hour power reserve, while the scratch-resistant coated case and bracelet make this a watch built for everyday adventures.

Thought it would be fun to double wrist with the doubly (is that even a word?) fantastic Marsden and Furneaux.

I can’t stress enough how thrilled I am that the 35mm cushion case collection exists. They’re just the perfect size for a smaller wrist, or for anyone who appreciates a vintage aesthetic.

Whether you prefer the clean white dial with those beautiful blue accents on the Marsden, or the juicy raspberry textured dial on the Furneaux, they both absolutely ooze elegance.

But the real question is… which one would you pick? 👀
