Beaded safety pin brooches. Don’t mind the tapping in the background… that’s just my cat politely asking to come in 😸

Cylin and Miyuki Delicas mixed 🙌 Verdict? Size wise, they’re uniform in size and mix very well,. Will need to see how the colours last.

Mixing Cylin beads with Miyuki Delicas, this is what I love about bead weaving, mixing and experimenting, trying new colour ways, new bead types, it’s so much fun!!!!!

Beaded fringe earrings in round beads vs Miyuki Delicas

13/09/2026

One of my first pair of beaded fringe earrings I designed and made from scratch.

They were made with a cheap baking painted round seed beads, which besides the small holes, worked out great for the structure and lightness of the earring.

But here we are 6 years later and i’m going to recreate these earrings using Miyuki Delicas.

Stay turned, I’ll compare the results.
