Looking back on 2014 when I was volunteering in Laos, this was taken at the morning market, after an early morning climb up Phousi Hill to watch the sunrise over Luang Prabang.

Eating black sticky rice with shaved fresh coconut served in a banana leaf… I remember how good it tasted. Visiting the morning market was always a highlight for me, although sometimes a little too much for the senses.

Oh yes we are very happy indeed with our recent arrival of our New Lao Cotton Scarf.

Soft, warm and very cosy, yet lightweight to wear. Hand woven pale Indigo cotton is combined with soft Cinnamon and finished with a natural cotton edge.

I was recently asked by someone about what they could do with their old Face Washer? Over time, like many things, they can become bit daggy to look at, but the cotton is still strong and durable.
I have been using my old Loom cloths as polishing rags for any stainless steel appliances, stove top, fridge etc. Works a treat on any surface really.

In a world where sustainability should be at the forefront of our mind, and making considered and ethical purchases, hopefully will contribute to minimising excessive waste.

These super cute, and very practical Fob Key Rings are made for us by the girls , a small Sewing Collective in Cambodia. As another delivery has recently arrived, there are have so many beautiful colour choices and designs.

Made from hand woven cotton and natural dyes. Machine washable.
