At 71, legendary jeweller John Miller has absolutely no plans to retire. In fact, he plans to keep silversmithing until his very last breath! ⚒️✨

"People ask me why I'm still working, but like most old artists, I just keep going," he says.

"Like most artists, I'll probably keep working 'til I drop."

For John, creativity and grit run in the family. He is a descendant of the legendary Durack family, who created one of the biggest cattle stations in Australia.

Today, John has come full circle, returning to Broome to reopen his famous shop, Dampier's Chest, where he shuns modern fashion to create timeless, wearable art inspired by the Australian bush.
