Firstly I hope everyone had a great Australia Day 🇦🇺 and as many of you will have seen I’ve always had an Australian flag flying on a pole out the front of my place. Sometime Saturday night, someone decided to help themselves to it.

If you took it to celebrate Australia Day then I can live with that. But if it was taken because you don’t think Australia Day should be celebrated, then that really pi**es me off.

So enjoy it if you took it for the right reasons — and be disappointed in yourself if you didn’t.

When Service still amazes. A customer purchased an 18ct princess cut diamond ring and couldn’t believe we could size it within an hour. She told us that back home in Geelong the same job would have taken 4 weeks. I hear that all the time. She returned with a box of chocolates and a hand written card to say thank you. This is the difference an onsite jeweller makes. A Merry Christmas to all.

Celebrating 45 Christmases in Yarrawonga 🎄
This year marks 45 Christmases since I first opened Dominique’s Jewellers back in 1981 — and what a journey it’s been.
I now find myself helping the grandchildren of my very first customers, and that connection means more to me than words can say. Thank you for trusting my little family business for so many years.
Our range has grown with the community — jewellery, watches, giftware — something special for every style and every budget.

The 2025 Yarrawonga Christmas Monster Market is on tomorrow (Saturday 6th December) at the beautiful Lake Mulwala Foreshore from 9.00am to 2.00pm. A sunny day is forecast. Bring the family to meet Santa Clause when he arrives on the Cumberoona at 11.30am. See you there.
