Playful Treasures Welcome to Playful Treasures, the home of beautiful jewellery and products specially designed for teething, oral sensory needs and fashionistas.

We are a family inspired and operated business founded by two mothers of special needs children who are passionate about quality, affordability and functionality.

Playful Treasures was founded by two parents of young special needs children living with Fragile X Syndrome and Autism. It was inspired initially by a need for chewy medallions, tubes and beads that our children could wear to fulfil their oral sensory needs. Without this jewellery they chew their fingers and hands sometimes until they would bleed. We found it difficult to find any variety within Australia for prices that we believed were reasonable for families. As we developed our range of chewable jewellery for our children and others like them it quickly became obvious that these products can be beneficial or just plain beautiful for the general public. So our mission has grown to now develop a beautiful range of jewellery that can be worn by mothers with teething babies, infants, toddlers and of course our gorgeous special need babies :)
