A 13-year-old boy, Aprotimo, the son of a Cumilla University associate professor, was found dead in the Lalmai Sananda Pahar area near the university campus today. He had gone missing the previous afternoon after leaving his home in Kotbari with his mother’s iPhone to take photos with friends.

Aprotimo was a seventh-grade student at Cumilla Border Guard Public School. After he failed to return home, his father filed a general diary at Cumilla Sadar South Model Police Station, while his mother appealed on Facebook for help in finding her son. His body was later recovered from the nearby wooded area.
