For sale is this cute "Plus qu'hier et moins que demain" love token. This love medallion of all love medallions was first created by the famous Lyon jeweller Alphonse . He based this loving text on a poem of Parisian Rosemand Gérard. She wrote the poem in 1890 for her husband.

This pendant is crafted in 18 karat solid yellow . This medal is in-scripted with 'A. Augis' referring to the "inventor" of these stunning tokens. It is set with three rubies in the minus and a small rose cut diamond in the plus. This wonderful charm with texture background is with a very recognisable Augis makers mark.

For sale is this stunning 18 karat charm. This lovely depicts a well detailled virgin encircled by flowers and leafs. This has a floral and warm look thanks to the foliate decoration encircling this religious scene. The maker of this charm has chosen a now patinated yellow gold as the basis material and supplemented it with a greener and red coloured gold to make it even more beautiful. A hollow shied shaped boarder gives the pendant a strong look, this boarder is a bit dented as visible in the pictures.

This necklace checks of all the characteristics of the typical , no or a small number of gemstones (because these were more difficult to obtain during and in the beginning after the war) and frequent use of gold. There is always a lot of gold in these jewels, in cheerful and . Goldsmiths showed all the manufacturing possibilities of gold by working and processing them in one jewel in different ways.
