This one was created on commission.
Behind the ear is my smiling face, because most of my work is made for someone and has found a new home. Knowing that these pieces will fill new spaces with beauty and wellbeing makes me happy.
Mosaics have endured for thousands of years. In antiquity, they were created to make art for eternity. The fact that we can still admire them today is proof that they succeeded. I like to think that the mosaics I make will continue that story.

Championing craft in an age of automation.
As AI and algorithms take over, true craftmanship and authicity become the ultimate differentiator.
Like crafting my jewellery, making mosaics is a way for me to slow down and make a deeper connection with things and people.
Craft carries knowledge, material intelligence and identity that can not been replaced by machines.
Both my jewellery and mosaics are made with intention: the process requires my full focus and I can do no other than putting my feelings into these objects. And so these imperfect objects get a soul. I really believe that these marble mosaics bring not only beauty, but also warmth, and more wellbeing into spaces. Just as my handcrafted jewellery make a connection with the wearer and tell a story to the viewer.
From now on I will post once in a while my mosaics I made here. If you’re interested in purchasing them, just send me a dm.

4 vedute - Ruins

When I started my university studies my plan was to become an archeologist. But to me the Flemish archeology seemed less spectacular than I imagined and I didn’t like the way it was teached, so I made the switch to art history. Even though archeology always stayed my big love and a source of inspiration to my work.

It’s pisces season, it’s my season!
It is told that pisces was born from a tear of Neptune, falling into the endless ocean of dreams. Those born under pisces drift between worlds, seeking love that is fluid, poetic, and as boundless as the sea itself.

So here I am, with a new necklace, once again inspired by the seaworld.
The necklace is as always handcarved by me and casted into silver. It represents two dancing seahorses with their tales entangled ending in a blue topaz.
Did you know that seahorses do this lovedance every morning ? ❤️
