An other gem on the wrist !
This stunning vintage Omega watch, featuring a beautifully patinated « FAB. SUISSE » dial and classic small seconds sub-dial, is a true testament to timeless design.
Dating back to the late 1930s or 1940s, this watch tell a fascinating story. This « FAB SUISSE » was specifically added to dials intended for the French market to comply with strict import regulations of the era. Ticking inside is likely one of Omega’s legendary 30mm manual-wind calibers, renowned for their rugged reliability and exceptional precision.
To style it, we wear a us army camouflage jacket from the 70s, showcasing how perfectly rugged heritage and refined horology can complement each other.

Behind this clean dial from 1959, there’s one of the most fascinating paradoxes in Omega’s history.
In the late 1950s, right after launching its legendary trilogy—the Speedmaster, Seamaster, and Railmaster.
Omega introduced the Ranchero.
The idea was simple: create a robust, highly readable, and more accessible timepiece powered by the legendary manual-wind 267 caliber.
However, things didn’t go as planned. The name « Ranchero » failed to resonate with buyers of the era, and sales struggled to take off. Facing weak demand, Omega pulled the plug after just two short years of production.
Yet, that initial commercial misstep is exactly what makes it a holy grail for collectors today.
Produced for such a brief window, the Ranchero has transformed into a rare find, coveted by those who appreciate timepieces with a genuine story to tell.
