I’ve been wanting to launch these products for a while, and my gap time has been full of creating origami, painting, and knitting. I’m proud to now also feature these delicate jewelry pieces to carry luck with you everywhere

These photos aren’t origami papers, they’re textiles from an art museum! The past two months I’ve been living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!! Here, African and indigenous art have greatly influenced textiles, fine art, and fashion which include lots of colors and patterns. It reminds me of the origami paper I use to make your handmade jewelry. When I studied abroad was in Japan, I became so inspired by the cultural art there that I later started selling my handmade origami jewelry :) this time, I’m again inspired by the textile art here to update my fashion and think of new designs for my jewelry. Hope you’re also having a fun, creative summer :))

I’ve always enjoyed creating and sharing art with people, and I constantly wonder how I can integrate my creative endeavors with business. Throughout college, Creations by Clio fulfilled this goal, and more: It was inspired by my first study abroad in Japan, it enabled me to connect with both Berkeley students and people from all over the US and internationally, and it taught me about managing a business while also being a great creative outlet.

Now that I’ve graduated, I will explore ten countries and draw about my travels on for the next six months. I’ll be taking a break from making earrings, since I won’t be able to mail orders while abroad. I view this plan as the next step to building my creative business career. I’ve always aspired to either create art or manage a creative brand full time, and my college successes with my art showed me this was possible. I will never compromise my creative and travel pursuits for a career, and I look forward to continue making this possible. Thank you to all who have purchased earrings from me the last few years — I wouldn’t have imagined these possibilities otherwise.

4 years since starting and I just wrapped up my last arts fair as a uc berkeley student. Selling at was such a fun way to end my creative business journey in college. Thank you sooo much to all my friends who came and said hi and everyone who bought origami jewelry!!!! I appreciate you all so much
