For the month of June, is wearing a few extra colours. 🌈

June is both National Indigenous History Month and Pride Month—two observances that are deeply personal to me and deserving of celebration, recognition, and advocacy.

In a time when it can feel like division is louder than understanding, I choose to celebrate love. I choose to celebrate community. I choose to celebrate the strength, resilience, and beauty of Indigenous Peoples, the original stewards of these lands, and the vibrant 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

There is room for all of us here.

This month, may we lead with kindness, curiosity, and respect. May we listen to one another's stories. May we celebrate the people who make our communities richer, stronger, and more vibrant.

Today we honour the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit Relatives.

These red dresses are not just symbols — they are reminders -
Of lives taken too soon.
Of families still waiting.
Of voices that must never be silenced.

We stand in solidarity with our kin.

We remember. We grieve. We speak their names.

And we will continue to choose love, respect, and accountability in our communities — today and every day.
