MAKE A PLAN FOR THE DATE BEFORE THE EMOTIONS BECOME OVERWHELMING. 💜

His birthday. Your anniversary. The day you met.

You know it's coming.

And even though the relationship is over, that date still holds so many memories.

You might find yourself missing him, wondering if he's thinking about you, or fighting the urge to reach out.

But here's what I want you to remember…

Just because a date still hurts doesn't mean you haven't healed.

And you don't have to wait until the emotions overwhelm you to decide how you'll get through it.

💜 Make a plan before the day arrives.

✨ Plan something you genuinely enjoy.

✨ Spend time with someone who makes you feel loved and supported.

✨ Stay off his social media.

✨ Write down what you're feeling instead of texting him.

✨ Do something you've always wanted to try.

And here's my favorite idea…

Create a NEW memory on a date that once brought you pain.

Maybe it's a little adventure, a special outing, or simply a beautiful day spent doing things that make YOU happy.

Because that date doesn't have to belong to him forever.

Same date. Different choice. A new memory. 💜

And if you're worried the memories will make you want to break no contact, I've got something for you.

✨ Download my FREE Don't Text Him Survival Kit at the link in my bio.

It's there to support you through those moments when your heart wants to reach out, but you're trying to choose yourself.

You are stronger than you think. And you can get through this. 💜

You remembered the date before you even opened your eyes. 💜

His birthday. Your anniversary. The day you met. The day you thought you’d be celebrating together forever.

And suddenly, before your day has even begun, your heart feels heavy.

You start remembering the good times.

Wondering if he’s thinking about you.

Wondering if that date still means anything to him.

And maybe you’re tempted to reach out, just to see if he remembers, too.

But here’s something I want you to know.

Healing after a toxic or narcissistic relationship doesn’t mean you’ll never feel sad about the memories.

Special dates can bring back heartbreak, grief, and longing, even when you’ve been making progress in your emotional abuse recovery or healing from a trauma bond.

A painful memory doesn’t mean you’re back at the beginning.

And missing someone doesn’t mean you need to reconnect with them.

That date was part of your story. Of course it might still mean something to you.

But it doesn’t have to belong to that relationship forever.

💜 This year, try something different.

✨ Make plans with a friend who makes you laugh.

✨ Take yourself somewhere you’ve always wanted to go.

✨ Stay off your ex’s social media.

✨ Start a new tradition that’s just for you.

✨ Create a beautiful new memory on a date that once brought you pain.

Because healing from a toxic relationship isn’t about erasing your past.

It’s about slowly creating a future that feels like yours again.

Same date. Different choice. A new memory. 💜

And if that special date brings an overwhelming urge to text your ex, you don’t have to face that moment without support.

✨ Download my FREE Don’t Text Him Survival Kit for those difficult moments when you’re tempted to break no contact, especially on birthdays, anniversaries, and other emotional milestones.

💜 Find your free Don’t Text Him Survival Kit at the link in my bio.

You can’t change what that date once meant.

But you can begin changing what it means to you now.

10/15/2026

A photograph cannot tell you what happens inside someone else’s relationship. 💜

You saw the picture.

Your toxic ex smiling beside someone new. Looking happy. Looking in love.

And suddenly, all those feelings you thought you’d worked through come rushing back.

Why does she get the version of him I begged for?

Why couldn’t he be that happy with me?

Was I the problem all along?

After a toxic or narcissistic relationship, seeing your ex move on with someone new can trigger feelings of rejection, jealousy, heartbreak, and self-doubt.

Especially when you’re still healing from emotional abuse, gaslighting, or a trauma bond.

But here’s something I want you to remember.

You have happy pictures with him, too.

Pictures where you were smiling.

Pictures where everyone thought you were the perfect couple.

Pictures that didn’t show the tears, the manipulation, the broken promises, or the nights you lay awake questioning your own worth.

You know better than anyone that a happy photograph doesn’t always mean a happy relationship.

Maybe he’s changed. Maybe he hasn’t.

But you can’t know that from a picture.

And you don’t need to know.

Because his new relationship isn’t proof that you weren’t enough.

Her happiness doesn’t mean she’s better than you.

And how he treats someone else doesn’t change what you experienced with him.

Healing after narcissistic abuse isn’t about waiting to see whether his next relationship works out.

It’s about rebuilding your confidence, trusting yourself again, and remembering that you deserved love, kindness, and respect all along.

And I know that sometimes, seeing those pictures makes you want to reach out to him.

To ask why he couldn’t love you that way.

To find out if he ever really cared.

Or maybe just to hear his voice and feel like you still matter.

But you don’t need to reopen that conversation to prove you were worthy of love.

💜 That’s why I created my FREE Don’t Text Him Survival Kit.

For those moments when seeing your ex with someone new brings the heartbreak rushing back, and you’re tempted to break no contact just to get some answers.

Before you send that message, give yourself a moment to pause, breathe, and remember why you’ve worked so hard to heal.

**DO NOT COMPARE YOUR PRIVATE PAIN WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S PUBLIC IMAGE.** 💜

You saw the pictures.

Him smiling with someone new. Holding her close. Looking happier than he ever seemed to be with you.

And just like that, all the progress you've made in healing feels like it's slipping away.

You start wondering…

*Why does she get the happy version of him?*

*Why couldn't I make him happy?*

*What does she have that I didn't?*

And suddenly, you're comparing your hardest moments to what looks like her perfect relationship.

**But you're forgetting something.**

There was a time when your pictures looked happy, too.

People saw the smiles.

The vacations.

The sweet moments you shared.

What they didn't see were the tears, the confusion, the broken promises, or how often you questioned your own worth.

**You know better than anyone that a beautiful picture doesn't always tell a beautiful story.**

Maybe he's changed. Maybe he hasn't.

But you cannot measure your worth by how happy he looks with someone else.

And you certainly cannot measure your healing against what someone chooses to share on social media.

His new relationship is not proof that you failed.

Her smile is not proof that she's better than you.

And **you were never responsible for making him become someone who could love you the way you deserved.**

💜 I know those pictures can bring everything rushing back.

The heartbreak. The jealousy. The urge to check his profile again. The temptation to send him a message just to ask *why*.

That's exactly why I created **My Pocket Priestess**.

✨ When you're triggered by something you see online, when you're questioning yourself, or when you're fighting the urge to reach out to him, My Pocket Priestess gives you a place to pause, ground yourself, and reconnect with what you know.

Because sometimes you don't need another answer from him.

**You need a reminder of why you're choosing yourself.**

💜 Find **My Pocket Priestess** at the link in my bio.

You saw him with someone new… and now you’re wondering why she gets the version of him you begged for. 💜

He’s smiling. He looks happy. He’s treating her like she’s everything he ever wanted.

And suddenly, you’re questioning yourself.

Why couldn’t he love me like that?
Why wasn’t I enough?
Did he change for her because I was the problem?

After a toxic or narcissistic relationship, seeing your ex with someone new can bring back feelings of rejection, self-doubt, and the pain of being discarded.

Especially when you’re still healing from emotional abuse, gaslighting, or a trauma bond.

But here’s something I want you to remember:

You once had beautiful pictures with him, too.

Pictures where you looked happy.

Pictures where nobody could see the confusion, broken promises, or nights you spent questioning yourself.

Social media shows you moments. It doesn’t show you the whole relationship.

Maybe he’s changed. Maybe he hasn’t.

But his new relationship is not proof that you were the problem.

And you were never responsible for making him become the man you needed him to be.

You didn’t fail because you couldn’t make him treat you better.

And I know how painful it can be to see that picture.

Sometimes the heartbreak brings an overwhelming urge to reach out.

To ask him why.

To find out if he ever really loved you.

To hear him say that you mattered.

But the person who left you questioning your worth may not be the person who can help you remember it.

So when you see that picture and your heart starts begging you to send just one text…

Pause before you reach for your phone.

💜 Download my FREE Don’t Text Him Survival Kit for those moments when the heartbreak, jealousy, and self-doubt get so loud that you’re tempted to break no contact.

Because you deserve support getting through that moment without reopening a door you’ve worked so hard to close.

You used to trust your instincts. Now you question every decision. 💜

After a toxic or narcissistic relationship, rebuilding self-trust can be one of the hardest parts of healing.

When you’ve experienced gaslighting, emotional abuse, or constantly had your feelings and perceptions questioned, you may start second-guessing yourself automatically.

Am I overreacting?
Did I misunderstand?
What if I make the wrong decision?

But your inner voice isn’t gone.

You can learn to trust yourself again.

Start small.

Make one decision without looking for someone else’s approval.

Notice what you think before asking everyone else what they think.

Honor the boundary that feels right to you.

Because every time you listen to yourself and follow through, you’re rebuilding the relationship that matters most:

the one you have with yourself.

And if you’re ready to rebuild your confidence, strengthen your self-worth, and start trusting yourself again, my Confidence Course was created to help you do exactly that. ✨

You are not failing because healing is taking longer than you expected. 💜

Healing after a toxic or narcissistic relationship doesn’t follow a timeline.

You may have days when you feel strong, confident, and completely sure of how far you’ve come…

and other days when one memory, one trigger, or one lonely moment makes you wonder:

“Why am I still struggling with this?”

But a difficult day does not erase your progress.

You’re rebuilding parts of yourself that may have been worn down over time—your confidence, self-worth, boundaries, and ability to trust yourself again.

That doesn’t happen on anyone else’s schedule.

You’re not behind. You’re rebuilding.

And every time you choose yourself, you’re taking another step forward. ✨

If you’re ready to rebuild your confidence and reconnect with the woman you’re becoming, my Confidence Course is available now.

A difficult day does not erase months of progress. 💜

You can wake up missing him after weeks of feeling okay.

You can get triggered by a memory you thought you had made peace with.

You can feel lonely and suddenly start romanticizing the relationship again.

You can even have a moment where you want to check his social media, send the text, or ask yourself:

“Why am I still struggling with this?”

And none of that means you’re back at the beginning.

Healing is not a straight line.

The woman having a hard day today still knows things the woman who first left didn’t know yet.

She has boundaries she didn’t have before.

She recognizes patterns she once explained away.

She has survived nights she thought would break her.

She has chosen herself in a hundred tiny ways nobody else saw.

One difficult day cannot erase all of that.

So instead of asking, “Why am I not over this yet?”

Ask yourself:

“What can I do for myself today that the old version of me wouldn’t have known how to do?”

Maybe that’s the progress.

Not never hurting again.

But learning how to stay beside yourself when you do. 💜

Save this for the days your healing feels invisible.
And for the days that are really difficult download my free “Don’t Text Him Survival Kit.” Link in bio.

Everyone thinks enough time has passed.

But your heart still isn’t ready. 💜

When you’re healing after heartbreak, a toxic relationship, or emotional abuse, moving forward can feel like more than letting go of him.

Sometimes it feels like letting go of the hope that he’ll come back.

So you wait.

You replay the relationship.

You wonder if he’ll finally realize what he lost.

And while everyone around you seems to think you should have “moved on” by now, part of you is still emotionally standing in the same place.

You are not on anyone else’s healing timeline.

But there may come a moment when you realize you don’t want to spend your life waiting for someone else to choose you.

You want to start choosing yourself.

Your confidence.

Your identity.

Your dreams.

The woman you’re becoming beyond this relationship.

That’s exactly why I created my Confidence Course—to help you rebuild your confidence, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating a life that feels like yours again.

✨ Find the Confidence Course on my website at the link in my bio.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You just have to be willing to take the next step toward you. 💜
