As we near the end of June and another joyful start to the summer wedding season, we’re reflecting on what truly makes our work meaningful.

At Northwood, we’re proud to work with customers of all identities. Just like the gemstones we set, each person brings their own vibrancy, depth, and light. Your uniqueness is what makes our work come alive—and we’re honored to be your jeweler.

With Canada Day and July 4th around the corner, we’re reminded how important it is to celebrate the freedom to love, express, and be ourselves. Now more than ever, standing together in our diversity matters.

We'll be taking a long weekend break from Saturday, June 28th through Tuesday, July 1st to give our team a chance to rest, recharge, and celebrate summer. We'll be back in the shop Wednesday, July 2nd.

Starting this month, Northwood Custom Jewelry is thrilled to welcome Bryana Lavery, an experienced independent jewelry appraiser, to our store for monthly Appraisal Days — happening every 3rd Thursday of the month, beginning June 19th.
Bryana is GIA Graduate Gemologist specializing in appraisals of fine and antique jewelry and watches. With a career in the jewelry industry since 2007 and working full time as an independent appraiser since 2011, she brings extensive experience and professionalism in evaluating pieces for insurance agencies, attorneys, banks, fine auction houses, and individual clients. She specializes in appraising fine jewelry, diamonds, colored gemstones, pearls, watches and antique pieces.
Whether you’re seeking appraisals for insurance purposes or estate valuations, she is here to assist you.
Each appraisal includes:
Detailed notes,
Color photographs
Delivered same day as a signed PDF - ready for insurance submission or personal record keeping.
Cost: $125 per item + HST
Appointments are required.
