✨ A Little Re-Introduction ✨
Hi there and welcome to Milk and Memories 💗
I’ve noticed so many new faces here lately, so I thought it might be time to re-introduce myself!
My name is Magan, and I am the owner, creator, and heart behind Milk and Memories. I am a wife to my husband Chad, a mom to two amazing kiddos, Cooper and Paisley, and outside of jewelry I work full-time as a high school Special Education Educational Assistant — a job that I absolutely love.
Milk and Memories was born from my own motherhood journey. With my son, I exclusively pumped but sadly lost my supply early during a very stressful season of life. When my daughter was born, I was determined to continue our breastfeeding journey as long as possible. We faced postpartum depression, low supply, mastitis, and many emotional ups and downs — but we made it to 2 years of breastfeeding, something I will always be proud of. 💕
After my daughter weaned, I saved a bottle of milk in my freezer knowing one day I wanted a breastmilk ring to honor that chapter of my life. Years later, my husband tried to surprise me with one for Christmas, but the plans unfortunately fell through. That moment sparked something in me… and after lots of research, practice, and love, Milk and Memories was created.
What started as making one special ring for myself turned into helping other families preserve their own meaningful moments. Since then, it has become such an honor to create keepsakes using breastmilk, ashes, hair, fabric, flowers, umbilical cord, and so much more.
Every piece that leaves my studio carries a story, and I never take that trust lightly. Thank you for being here, supporting my small business, and allowing me to create pieces filled with love, memories, and meaning. 🫶
