I may have been born with sparkles in my eyes because I have been drawn to shiny things my entire life! For as long as I can remember, I have loved all things feminine, which includes fashion, makeup and jewellery. I remember "borrowing" my best friend's mother's makeup when we were very young a
nd playing with it for hours. I was inspired by my friend's mother who was THE most glamorous woman ever. She was always so well put together. I admired her stylish clothes with her hair, nails and makeup that were always done to perfection. Always impeccably matching purse and shoes. She epitomized the type of woman I aspired to be when I grew up. My love for clothes, shoes and purses has taken me down some interesting paths. At one time I owned over 200 pairs of shoes and nearly that many purses in my overstuffed closets. Filled to the brim with fashions in every size, colour and style, my jewellery took up a large portion of the closet as well. My father, a jewellery designer, cut his own stones and designed many beautiful pieces while teaching me about the stones. This lead me down the path to designing my own line of jewellery as well. Makeup, is just a fun part of a polished look for me. Becoming a makeup artist was something I always wanted to do. I was able to use this skill when I opened my first fashion boutique, Viva Le Glitz in 2014, with my very dear friend where I gave hundreds of women makeovers and taught them practical ways of applying makeup that brought out their natural beauty and saved them time. I lived out my school-girl fantasy in a giant closet full of fashion and accessories, and a wonderful line of cosmetics to help women feel fantastic all day long. The store became a popular stop for women looking to outfit themselves in fashionable, affordable clothing and accessories. Being able to add the finishing touch with that perfect lipstick and a chat/giggle at the same time was the best part. We loved the boutique but sadly due to personal reasons, we decided to close it. Fast forward a few years, and I am pleased to announce I will reignite Viva Le Glitz with a twist. It's important to me that every woman finds her unique look in my boutique. I am determined that she won't see herself on the streets, she will shine like the diamond she truly is! I will be offering fashions designed by local artists such as Canadian designer Krishlynn Designs as well as those from around the world. You will find unique coats, capes and shawls; silk scarves designed and hand-painted by my own mother and purses and bags that I find irresistible! I will offer hand-selected jewellery, my own designs as well as vintage pieces which you will not find anywhere else. Of course, there will be many other things that are bling! The boutique will offer absolutely fabulous shoes and unique gifts you will not find anywhere else. I will be adding new and exciting services married with the fashion and accessories that will add to the icing. IN FACT, everything about the new Viva Le Glitz Style Boutique will be the icing for that woman who wants to feel her best every single day.
