Just an fyi the Gravenhurst market continues to run every Wednesday until October 7th, and there’s one final market in Rosseau this Friday September 11th... we just won’t be there!

NEW COLLECTION ALERT!!🚨
This spring/summer I decided to tap into my heritage/ancestry a little more and focus on a stone that can only be found in the Dominican Republic.

Larimar is a beautiful blueish-green variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only around the city of Barahona.

It was apparently discovered by a local artisan named Miguel Méndez in 1974 while he was exploring the coastal areas. Inspired by its stunning blue color, he named it after his daughter Larissa and the Spanish word for sea, “mar,” reflecting its resemblance to the Caribbean waters.

You’ll be able to discover it yourself this summer at a variety of different markets I’ll be attending 😉 Find a list of my upcoming events on my website!
