The Kootenay Co-op in Nelson is one of my absolute favourite places to shop- they’ve got local produce, supplements, a bakery cafe, an amazing wellness section and so much more. If you know, you know! And if you’ve never been, you need to go check it out!

Because I love this place so much I am SOOO excited to be hosting a gemstone bracelet making class at the Co-op this fall!

Join me October 25 from 1:30 - 3:30pm. We’ll begin with a gentle meditation and an introduction to gemstones. You’ll get to choose from a wide variety of semi-precious stones to design and create 2 custom bracelets.

All instruction and supplies are included, no experience necessary. Just come on out and have some fun!

This summer, I challenged myself to find more joy.

This was a personal challenge to break away from the monotony of work and chores…and let me tell you, even 20 minutes a day of doing something just for me made a big difference.

I was happier, less stressed, and felt so carefree to just have a little fun!

So what brought me joy?

The results were clear! Being outside moving my body in nature was the clear winner. Bonus if I was in the water!

I learned something important during this challenge. What’s fun for me isn’t necessarily fun for someone else. And that’s ok.

Your joy doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

You just have to make room for it.

Kids have been back in school for two weeks now, and while a new school year can bring excitement, it can also bring nervousness, fear, uncertainty, and overwhelm.

Sometimes, kids don’t have the words to tell us exactly what they’re feeling.
