A little something for my fellow book lovers 📚✨

Meet my My Favourite Reads DIY Ornament! It’s double-sided, with space for 12 mini books (six on each side) so you can create a tiny display of your favourite reads. 🫶🏻

Each kit includes the ornament, 12 3D printed blank mini book covers, and a QR code that takes you to the Canva template. Add your book covers, print and cut them out, glue the covers on, then fill your ornament with the stories you love most!

Would you choose your favourite reads from 2026, a beloved series, or an all-time favourites list? Tell me which books would make yours! 🩷

This is a little break from my regular product posts 💜

This week, my workspace has been sharing space with birthday prep. I’ve been planning Jo’s birthday, getting all the little details ready, and painting her banner in the middle of everything else.

I hope my kids remember more than the finished things. I hope they remember the paint on the table, the ideas taking shape, the busy, messy parts, and the birthday details made just for them. I hope they remember seeing their mom build something she loves.

This banner is one small piece of the childhood I’m trying to make for them…and the life I’m building for myself, too. 💜✨

I’ve been working on a new bookish idea, and I’m so excited to finally share a peek at it 🥹📚

Meet Booked by Fate: a reusable, laser-made keepsake vault for readers. Inside below the accessory tray is a mystery paperback chosen to match the theme, plus a removable bookshelf sign and a few reading day treats. When the book is finished, the vault stays… with room to display or store more bookish treasures. ✨

The first one has a dark, gothic, dangerously romantic vibe… but the book title stays a mystery until you open it. 🖤

It’s still a new project, but I’m already dreaming up the next one. What kind of bookish theme should fate choose next?

Just a little housekeeping 🤍

As Matty Boy Designs continues to grow and we get into small business busy season, I wanted to share a little reminder about messages, custom orders, timelines & store deliveries.

I’m one person behind the scenes doing all the designing, making, painting, printing, packaging, restocking … and occasionally forgetting to reply to a message I absolutely meant to reply to. 😅

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and most of all for continuing to support my little business. It genuinely means the world to me. 🤍
