Today is my birthday.
And the most beautiful thing landed in my inbox this morning — a message from a student who has sat with me in retreats and online calls over the years. She wrote about peace. About awareness and inner joy. About her life being touched in ways she wanted me to know.
I am sitting with that today instead of rushing past it.
I wanted to share it here because this community is part of what makes that kind of message possible. You show up. You stay curious. You choose stillness even when the world is noisy. That matters more than I can say.

Something I want you to try right now.

Think of one thing you have done well recently. Not perfectly. Just genuinely.
Now be present to your experience. What do you notice?

This is what I call the Power of Praise. It is not self-congratulation. It is a quiet return to yourself.

Most women I meet are carrying far more than anyone realizes.

Their minds are busy.
Their nervous systems are tired.
And many have forgotten what it feels like to simply breathe and be present with themselves.

That is part of why I created Stillness & Shine.

Not to help women become someone new — but to help them reconnect with themselves again.

This new 6-week series begins May 28 in Sudbury, and I will also be sharing more about it at the Outdoor Show at Gateway Casinos Sudbury on May 23 & 24.

No registration needed. No experience required. Just come as you are.

We will meditate together, explore some simple awareness tools, and have a calm conversation about what it feels like to genuinely settle in the middle of a full life.
