Sudbury — we're coming to the Holistic Healing Fair this Sunday!

Alokakari and I will be there with Devarati Jewellery — new creations, familiar favourites and pieces from the collections for you to explore and try on.

And after the wonderful conversations and co-creations at the Ancaster show, I'm looking forward to seeing what gets created in Sudbury.

What a wonderful Saturday of conversations, connections and creativity.

One of my favourite parts of bringing Devarati Jewellery by Design to a show is discovering what happens when we create together.

Yesterday, some existing Devarati creations found new homes — and some new creations came to life right here at the show, inspired by the people who stopped at my table.

The banner is finally up. 🍁
After two summer shows without it, the pull-up banner made its debut this weekend at the Sudbury Gem and Mineral Show — and seeing it standing there, canoe ring and all, felt like a small homecoming. Every piece in this booth traces back to the same place: the Spirit of the Canadian Landscape, and the belief that jewellery can hold real meaning, not just sparkle.

This booth also carries something new this year — a moment of stillness, right in the middle of the show floor. If you stopped by and tried the free 60-second reset, you already know what I mean. Beauty and calm were never meant to be separate things.

What a day. ☀️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Devarati Jewellery by Design booth at the Ukrainian Festival this weekend. The conversations, the laughter, the heat we all survived together — it was a beautiful day in every way.

So many of you connected with the **Equinox Collection** — the sunflower and moon pendants found new homes, and I loved hearing the stories behind why each piece called to you. A few of you are already thinking about what comes next. I'm holding space for those conversations.

And a heartfelt thank you to the organizers for creating such a vibrant and meaningful celebration. Watching the dancers from my booth was one of the highlights of my summer so far — pure joy. 💛💙

Today I want to Pause.

Simply to honour.

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada — a day to give thanks, to reflect, and to acknowledge with humility the people whose relationship with this land goes back far beyond any of us.

I live and work in Greater Sudbury, on the traditional lands of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and Wahnapitae First Nation, signatories to the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850. These are people who have cared for this land since time immemorial — its forests, its lakes, its living things — with a wisdom and a devotion that I find deeply moving.

In the practice of stillness I have been part of for over 25 years, gratitude is not a nice idea. It is a doorway. When we genuinely give thanks — for the land beneath our feet, for the people who have tended it, for the water that sustains us — something in us softens and opens.

So today I offer this simple prayer:
Thank you to the Anishnaabe people — for your stewardship, your resilience, and your continued presence on these lands.
Thank you to the land itself — for holding all of us, season after season, without condition.
May we learn to receive that gift with the care it deserves.
May we walk more gently, listen more deeply, and honour what has always been here.

Today is my birthday.
And the most beautiful thing landed in my inbox this morning — a message from a student who has sat with me in retreats and online calls over the years. She wrote about peace. About awareness and inner joy. About her life being touched in ways she wanted me to know.
I am sitting with that today instead of rushing past it.
I wanted to share it here because this community is part of what makes that kind of message possible. You show up. You stay curious. You choose stillness even when the world is noisy. That matters more than I can say.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for trusting the process. Thank you for letting me walk alongside you.
This is the work I was made for.
