What a fabulous vernissage for Touch: A Tactile Exhibition today. Everyone's work is so amazing, and it's such a delight to touch, pick up, play with, and caress the artworks. It's a one of a kind exhibition that will delight anyone that enjoys a truly sensory experience.

Thank you to the curators, NBCCD and Frye Gallery, and CraftNB for creating this opportunity.

The CraftNB Touch exhibition is currently running at the Frye Gallery on Queen Street, Fredericton. This isn't in the show, but it is the precursor to one of the pieces that is.

This got titled "The Violet Pool" and is a construction of water cast pewter and cold enamel. It's going to the Fredericton Arts Alliance for their annual Gala in October.

For artists and artisans in the greater Fredericton area, the juried artist in residency program provides you with an opportunity to work in a public space, share your work, build your skills and C.V., and receive an honorarium for your time. The program closes with an exhibition at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre in the fall.
