With each pair of repurposed earrings purchased one meal will be supplied to a Canadian child in school through Breakfast Club of Canada. This weekend at the cottage, I learned two things:

1. I’m not very good at tying knots. 😅
2. Knots are surprisingly important when you’re trying to keep your floaty from drifting into Lake Huron.

It got me thinking about graduation.

A good knot doesn’t hold you back—it keeps you connected. Connected to the people who cheered you on, the lessons you learned, and the roots that got you here.

As a jewelry designer, I thought I’d share a few trends I absolutely can’t stand… 🙃

I. Pearls are terrible because who would want a natural treasure that’s one of a kind? 🤷‍♀️

2. And beaded necklaces? Tiny colourful pieces of happiness around your neck? Sounds awful.

3. Don’t even get me started on crystal bracelets… beautiful natural gemstones with meaning and personality? Hard pass. 🙃

Good thing I don’t make crystal bracelets in every colour, beaded necklaces in countless combinations, or pearl pieces that somehow keep finding their way into every collection. 😏✨

I just saw the trend forecast for Summer 2026 and I’m a little excited…
