Never have I ever held my breath like this before!

A hefty 2mm thick, hand-sawn, actual-size 45 RPM record adaptor pendant in solid sterling silver. Every step felt like a bit of a gambleā€¦ will the saw behave? will the drill go true? will the masking hold for the personalization? One slip and itā€™s literally over!
Happy to report: we made it through, just me and my trusty hand tools!
Now itā€™s onto a serious filing session and clean-up

A little sparkle for a good cause!

Iā€™ve donated a couple of my handmade sterling silver pieces to the VAM Silent Auction on April 10th.

Thereā€™s a pair of geometric, asymmetrical earrings and a classic washer-style pendant on rollo chain ā€” both solid sterling silver, and hand-hammered for that subtle texture I love to wear myselfšŸ¤

I wonā€™t be able to attend this year, but I was there last year and it was such a great evening with workshops, silent auction, talented artists and so much more.

If youā€™ve been following my work, this is a nice chance to grab something one-of-a-kind and support a great cause at the same time.

Bought in 2021 by a great customer of mine, this gorgeous 3-strand sterling silver beaded bracelet is very loved ā€¦ but it recently went on an unexpected adventure inside a dishwasher for quite a few cycles!
Thankfully it wasnā€™t ruinedā€”just very dull and dirty. I sent my customer a simple cleaning trick to bring it back to life, and look at that shine now! āœØ
She was so happy to see it restored to its original sparkle.
