What do you do when your Fair Trade cafe is being overtaken by a great collection of greeting cards, stationery, Fair Trade jewelry, crafts, independent music, beeswax candles,a great line of body care and a lot of other cool stuff? You switch gears and open a retail store that also happens to sell organic Fair Trade coffee drinks.

Despite the torrential downpour Lois was in a shopping mood today. She was graciously kept dry by our handsome doorman as she left. We’re open 11-5 today. Lots of new items, used books and coffee is exceptional!

Water Not Coal petition is here to sign Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday this week! Thanks to everyone for sharing, signing and canvassing for this important cause; uptake has been great and we need to keep going! Don't forget to grab a property tax or utility bill with your physical address on it if your DL just has a PO Box number.

In other news, we have a new shipment of Native Northwest products, including kids' socks! Adorable owls, frogs and Sasquatch to fit ages 3-10 years. New adult socks as well as more beautiful scarves. Come check them out!
