Today is the official end of NOMI's brick and mortar store. It started as a dream when I was very young and come true in 2007! It was with the amazing support of my family that made this dream come true. For those who don't know that the inspiration of the name NOMI comes from my parents' names, my dad's (NO) Nobuyuki and my late mom's (MI) Mitsuko. Thank you to my entire family and friends who supported me along the way. My husband Rob, who has been the greatest support of all, a sounding board when I needed and my biggest cheerleader, I could not have done it without you!! My regular customers who have supported me through all these years and to the ones I have become friends (you know who you are). Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I end with this final post, a beautiful painting that my very talented sister painted. It is from a picture taken on the day I moved in. My beautiful mother, who was my ultimate supporter in life!!! Who was there from the start, during and in my heart, at the end. I am dedicating my 17 years to you, Mom and Dad, I hope I did you proud!! ❤️
