One of the most common things we hear in the store is:
"Why does that diamond sparkle so much more than the other one?"

Most people assume it's because it's bigger.
It's usually not.

A diamond's sparkle has a lot more to do with how well it's cut than how big it is. A beautifully cut diamond reflects light back to your eye, giving you that fire and sparkle everyone loves. A poorly cut diamond can be larger and more expensive, but still look dull beside a smaller well-cut stone.

It's one of the reasons we always encourage people to see diamonds in person instead of shopping by numbers alone.

Because on paper, two diamonds can look very similar.

In real life? Totally different story.
