ARE EMERALDS AS VALUABLE AS DIAMONDS?

Emeralds are one of the precious three, along with rubies and sapphires. By most in the business, they are considered as precious and valuable as a diamond.

Because of this, emeralds are a classic anniversary stone. Traditionally gifted on the 20th and 35th anniversary, we are seeing a rise in “alternative stones” for commitment, promise, even engagement.

We have talked about being cautious with emeralds, however we absolutely LOVE the idea of them being in an anniversary band! Whether you are adding to your ring stack, or just looking for something unique, we want to know - how would you wear them?

HOW DO I CLEAN MY EMERALD?

We get people bringing their precious gems into us all the time for repairs and maintenance (yes, just like your car, your jewelry requires constant love). The fun thing about gemstones, versus diamonds, is that some are relatively unknown.

50% of people don't know what an emerald is, or its delicate nature; 50% of people both love and fear emeralds for their beauty and delicate nature 🤣

We want you to love your emeralds as much as we do. They just need a little extra attention.

A few tips, direct from our princesses:

- no harsh chemicals!!! I do NOT want to help clean the house
- leave me at home when you vacation, I'm not a fan of planes (air pressure can effect natural fractures)
- no thanks, I'll stay home from the gym (I cannot take a hard knocks)
- no ultrasonics... I'm not a fan of fancy tubs, for the reasons above!
- I'll pass on the dishes too thanks, I don't want to be too hot

Ok, now you are wondering - what?! A gentle polishing cloth, toothbrush with mild soap, easy peasy 🫶💚

Wear them, love them, give them the extra care; and they will last you a lifetime!
