Every so often, we like to shine a light on the people who make Magpie what it is. Today, that's Jasmine.
If you've visited our Glebe location, you've probably been lucky enough to be helped by her. Jasmine is kind, warm and has an exceptional eye for detail. She takes the time to understand exactly what each client is hoping for, and everyone leaves feeling truly looked after.
Not to mention her accent… Jasmine brought a lovely British lilt with her to Ottawa, and honestly, we could listen to her read the phone book.
Away from the counter, Jasmine is a singer and musician. She brings that same creativity to her work here, and you can see it in every custom ring she helps design. Each one has its own rhythm, harmony and a little bit of soul.
Her favourite pieces in the shop come from Canadian designer Emma Glover, especially the Ancient Love Pendant. In Jasmine's words:
