Today we pause and reflect.

Today is Indigenous Veterans Day, we remember and honour the contributions that Indigenous Peoples have made and continue to make to Canada’s military. Indigenous veterans have deep roots in Canada’s military. We take time today to reflect on and honour the First Nations, Métis and Inuit people who never made it home, who fought for our freedoms and came home forever changed.

On this day we pause and reflect on all those affected (directly or indirectly) by the residential school system. We hope you are able to take time today to honour Indigenous Peoples and take part in a celebration for reconciliation in a community near you. We will be closed today.
