No one in the hand-carved wax game can carve like my dear friend Brian. I was fortunate to meet Brian 40 years ago; he is one of the legendary hand-carved wax carvers, and no one can match his skill. The unfortunate part is that he never had the opportunity to teach his craft to someone who could carry on his talent.
Over the past 40 years, he has carved hundreds of amazing pieces in wax for me. This particular piece is a raw casting in sterling silver, requiring very little finishing due to the perfection of his work. I feel blessed to have collaborated with many talented designers and goldsmiths who have taught me my craft.
