His fascination led him to some of Montréal’s most prestigious schools where he broadened his education of jewellery and watches. He was also trained to personally customize and repair jewellery and watches. Years later his sister Nina Ragusa followed his example and began to better educate herself within the jewell

ery and watch field. The sibling duo then later went on to open up one of the most impressive jewellery stores within the Montreal region, Bijouterie Cite Doree. Bijouterie Cite Doree does not only carry remarkable jewellery lines such as 18 caret Italian jewellery imported straight from Italy, the personally customize jewellery and repair jewellery and watches. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Santina Chiazzese, beloved mother of the owners of Cité Dorée. ❤️

Santina was the most devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother to her family. She was also a familiar face at the store, where she welcomed everyone with a warm smile and kind heart. She loved speaking with customers, sharing stories, and making everyone feel like family the moment they walked through the door.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Please note that our store will be closed on Tuesday, May 12th and Wednesday, May 13th as we gather with family and loved ones to honor and celebrate the life of our mother.
