Coralina is a beautiful choice for pool decks, but its natural pores, holes, and crevices can collect water, dirt, and mold. Over time, these areas become harder to clean and can contribute to deterioration.

A common treatment is to grind the stone and fill the openings with a filler or coating. Some coatings become slippery when wet, and as they wear away, the holes and crevices are exposed again. Adding a sandy texture can improve traction, but it can also leave the deck less comfortable under bare feet.
