While I was making the new hand-flowers, and making them look like actual flowers, I reworked this green and silver one to include more bronze/brown and black. I feel like it gives the piece more depth, and makes it way more interesting than it was before.

As promised, here are brand new Celtic Star hand flowers, made to evoke actual flowers growing on the back of your hand! Two of them even have little pollinating friends visiting! I’m super pleased with how these turned out, and I’m hoping to make them a regular item in my inventory!

This is a weave I’ve played with a little bit called JPL, or Jens Pind Linkage. It’s a neat one, but it requires very tight rings to lock the weave in place, and a lack of rings in those sizes mean that I haven’t been able to make it often. These are made from 16 gauge 3/16 inch rings (the cool tones) and 14 gauge 1/4 inch rings (the warm tones).
