Ah jewelry making, it has been a minute! Ever since finishing my silversmith diploma last year it’s been tough to get back into it. I’ve let life distract me and told myself stories that I just didn’t have the time right now.
This past weekend I decided to take a sand casting class with . A technique I have always been fascinated by and it was so great to learn something new again with such a great teacher!
It was inspiring and I can’t wait to do it again on my own!
Cheers to prioritizing what interests you✨

A little throwback as I never shared this beautiful story on here 💫
My dear friend asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding she also asked me to make something for the bridesmaids and I was so honored on both counts!!
I decided to use moonstone to make these necklaces, the brides necklace being a little different than the rest but I just love how these stones sparkle! ✨🌈
Honored and blessed to be able to spread love in this very unique way and I still have some of these stones so what else should I make with them?!

Made a wishbone ring last week and I think it looks great beside my engagement ring 😏
But really, I loved shaping this ring and I am having a ton of inspiration for some new pieces!!
What do you think of the wishbone ring?

First completed project of term 2 of my jewellery school diploma program!
This large pendant was inspired by the sea, the texture around made to look like the water when the sun shimmers on it and a cutout of a wave on the back to let as much light in as possible.
Cannot wait to make more and learn more 🧚‍♀️✨

Recap of week one of jewelry school;
Sawing is tough and so is filing!
This first week definitely humbled me, as someone who does jewelry work I definitely thought going back to basics would be a walk in the park. I was wrong! As this is not a part of my usual toolkit this was a real challenge but in the end I learned a lot and felt my confidence growing with each piece.
Beginning this school journey I knew discomfort would be present as I grow my skills and it was very uncomfortable this week and that’s ok!
Now bring on week two!!
