Services include full maintenance as well as partial maintenance such as replacement of watch battery, watch crystal (glass), watch crown, watch bracelet adjustment or repair. We also have a large selection of replacement watch leather straps, rubber straps, nylon straps and metal bracelets, replacement straps and bracelet for Tissot and Swatch watches. Barry Strickland is a watchmaker with a Swiss WOSTEP diploma and more than 25 years experience gained in after-sales service in Switzerland and later in his own store in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Grand Time opened in 1999 when Barry Strickland came back to his home town of St. John’s with his wife Rachel Jenni-Strickland. Barry had gone to Switzerland to learn from the best and study watchmaking at WOSTEP, in the town of Neuchatel where he met Rachel.
