My client came to me with her original wedding set: a tension-set engagement ring sandwiched between two bands of yellow gold, paired with a channel-set wedding band. There was so much to love in the original design, but after years of wear, the set felt a little dated and took up far too much real estate on the finger.

So rather than starting from scratch, we kept the parts that mattered…

The diamonds are now set in white gold to make them pop, while the bezels are framed between two bands of yellow gold, echoing the look of her original wedding set. The result is one streamlined piece that feels more modern, wearable, and still unmistakably connected to where it began.

A redesign isn’t always starting from scratch, but sometimes finding a way to carry the best parts forward. 💛

We packed so much meaning into this one-of-a-kind band: a Scandinavian-inspired floral pattern, chosen to represent his partner, and a tiny hidden diamond tucked inside to echo the diamond in her engagement ring.
