A baguette centre stone is not something you see every day.⁠

Traditionally, baguette diamonds are more commonly used as accent stones, but this client had a very clear vision for something different: a baguette as the main event!⁠

So, the focus became finding the right stone. And we nailed the assignment (if we do say so ourselves)...⁠

Because if diamonds go all the way around the band, there is very little left to work with if the ring ever needs to be resized. And because our fingers naturally fluctuate with seasons, temperature, pregnancy, lifestyle changes and time, that can become a real issue down the road.⁠
⁠
⁠Full eternity bands can also be more vulnerable to wear on the palm side of the hand, where the ring comes into contact with everything you touch throughout the day. That means more opportunities for damage and stone loss over time.⁠
⁠
For many clients, we recommend a halfway or three-quarter eternity band instead. You still get the beautiful diamond coverage from the top and sides of the hand, but with a small section of plain metal at the back for comfort, durability and future flexibility.⁠ ⁠We hand craft custom engagement rings with love in Canada ✨️⁠
