💍 Why are more people turning their diamonds sideways? 👀

Because not everyone wants the expected.

The moment I saw this oval diamond, I knew a traditional north-south setting wasn’t the right fit.

Turning it east-west gave the design a completely different energy—modern, textured, and a little unexpected.

And instead of prongs? A bezel setting.

I love how it frames the stone while giving the ring a clean, refined silhouette.

Watching a loose stone become a finished engagement ring is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do ✨

Unboxing my new apron and I am OBSESSED! 🔥
After almost 2 weeks of daily wear at the bench, this has completely exceeded my expectations. When your day involves acids, polishing compounds, and constantly dirty hands, looking put together can be a challenge – but this apron changes everything.
It’s durable, functional, and honestly makes me feel so much more professional when clients walk into the studio. I can’t recommend Search and Rescue Denim enough – if you work with your hands, you need one of these! 💎

From raw materials to finished ring – this is how the Aurea ring comes to life in my Toronto studio ✨
Starting with certified recycled 14k yellow gold and lab-grown diamonds, I design it in CAD, cast it, set every stone by hand, and polish it until it’s perfect. The whole process takes days, but watching it come together never gets old.
