As a former accessories columnist and current collector of fine gemstones, it’s genetically programmed in me to obsess over jewelry editorials. In the spirit of nostalgia, here’s a sprinkling of vintage campaigns that I love.💎

How our one-of-a-kind earrings come to life 👀

Get on a plane and get comfy!!! 12 hours from Vancouver to Taipei, then 5.5 hours to Denpasar.

Head to the office and start hunting for stones.

Organize what catches my eye and start creating piles of things I like.

Bring all the stones back to my Airbnb and create a system I can *sort of* remember!

Design begins. The ocean collection is the first collection of this trip that we’re launching!

Hula has the best coffee in Pererenan!!!!

Silversmith visits to take a peek a production.

All of these steps are in multiple locations so driving safely is key!!

Each pair of earrings comes with an original watercolour painting. I absolutely love how we can combine fine art with jewelry.

While we were on our design trip in Bali earlier this year, we hired our friend Made to hand-carve a wedding band for a custom client. Made is an incredible tattoo artist and jewelry carver, and he had previously carved our Earth ring (which was the inspiration for this band).

The ring was going to be casted in Vancouver so I requested two waxes, juuust in case there was an issue with the casting. Luckily everything went perfectly and now I get to show you the final design next to the spare wax, which feels very special!!

Thank you so much for your trust on this one, Manny. This ring certainly went on an amazing journey. Handmade with 14k recycled heirloom gold. ❤️
