There’s more to this one than meets the eye.

The 42 mm steel case plays with polished and satin finishes, framed by the Maison’s signature knurled bezel. Then there’s the Verzasca-toned rubber strap, with a layered, textile-like finish that gives it plenty of structure while keeping it comfortable on the wrist.

And inside is where things get really interesting: an integrated 5 Hz chronograph beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, with COSC certification for precise timing.

Technical, tactile and full of details worth a closer look.

We recently spent some time with the Bremont team, getting an up-close look at a few special timepieces.

Here are three that caught our eye, each with a different approach to design and watchmaking.

BREMONT

A little history inside a very different-looking watch.

The Bremont Altitude Chronograph Pulsograph is powered by a restored Valjoux 23 hand-wound movement, a historic chronograph calibre first produced in 1916.

Its salmon dial adds warmth, while the pulsometer scale recalls an era when chronographs were used to measure a patient’s pulse.

Housed in a 42mm titanium case, with only 40 pieces made!

Not something you see every day.

BREMONT

There’s a lot going on with this one.

The Bremont Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT brings together two useful complications: a perpetual calendar and a second time zone. Look a little closer and you’ll spot the rotating globe at 12 o’clock.

Only 50 pieces were made.

Which detail caught your eye first?

Okay, this one gives you plenty to look at.

The Bremont Supernova Tourbillon features an open-worked dial, so you can see the movement at work, with a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Even the blue Super-LumiNova® on the movement bridges adds an interesting detail.
