Just a few new gnomes and things that will be available at the Harbourview Market beginning next weekend. Everything is handmade by me. Looking forward to seeing you at the market. Lots of vendors with all kinds of crafts. Saturday and Sunday beginning on July 6 and 7 from 10 am to 4 pm.

I haven’t posted anything for quite some time. However, I have been working on some new projects. These are a couple of placemats I just finished. I won’t lie, they were a challenge at first but after making a dozen of them, I think I have finally caught on. lol. Who knew I could learn new things, at my age. I have also made some bowl cozies, which I had never made before. I will post pictures later. I have also added some blankets to my collection and will continue making all these things along with gnomes.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Tartan Gnomes had a great time visiting with their clan cousins. There were several clans represented including the following clans: Royal Stewart with some wearing Dress Stewart, Bell, Dress MacKenzie, Dress Campbell, Hector, Maple Leaf, Nova Scotia, Pictou County, P.E.I., Wallace, and more. Visiting Pictou was a highlight of their journey. They had such a great time that they have decided to stick around for a bit longer. They will be gathering again soon at the Victorian Christmas Fair in Westville on October 28.

My gathering of the Gnome Clans in honour of the 250th anniversary of the Ship Hector arriving in Pictou carrying Scottish immigrants. You can find them at the Pictou Harbourview Market on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 4 pm every weekend. Lots of other vendors with their crafts here as well. Hope to see you at the market.

Sorry about the background but I just had to show you all my newest gnome. He stands about 12 inches high and is about 16 inches around at his widest point. I will have him at the Pictou Harbourview Market on Friday evening , September 1st, from 5-9, Saturday, September 2, and Sunday, September 3rd from 9:30 to 4:00. We are at the Pictou Harbourview Market today, Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday from 9:30 to 4:00. In celebration of the 250 th anniversary of the Ship Hector arriving in Pictou in 1773, I have made several Hector tartan gnomes. Come see what we have here at the market.

As I sit here at the Pictou Harbourview Market, I am working on a kilt for a gnome. This tartan is the Maple Leaf tartan. It takes a good amount of time to make these kilts but I do enjoy it.
