💙 A little reminder of why I do what I do…
A few weeks ago, I was at a market set up very close to another jewelry seller. Although I was really happy with my sales that weekend, the booth beside me seemed to be busy non-stop.
I’ll be honest… it got me questioning things. I started wondering what made people choose one booth over another and, if I’m putting so much love, time, and work into creating my jewelry, was it all worth it? 🤔
I know there are so many different ways to run a jewelry business, and that’s perfectly okay! But in that moment, I found myself wondering what really makes Blue Aura Design stand out. 💭
Then, a lady came to my booth and asked me a question I wasn’t quite prepared for:
“What makes your jewelry different from everyone else’s?”
I was a little caught off guard, especially because I was already questioning myself that day. I started showing her my Manitoba necklaces, which are probably the pieces I’m most proud of. I explained how I personally collect each little piece of nature and the treasures that go into them. Every piece has a story, and I love being able to turn those little finds into something people can wear and treasure. 🍃💙
I showed her a few other pieces, and she got so excited! She told me she never would have known all of this just by walking past my booth. She even suggested I get a banner to help showcase what makes my jewelry special.
And you know what? She was right!

Sometimes, when you’re busy creating and putting your heart into something, you forget that people might not realize the story behind it unless you tell them.
