Grandma
My sister Tina ( holding my niece Reana )
and my youngest sister Emilia Galvez Chope.

My sister Tina , Big Jess , and grandma have passed away many years ago but Emilia has recently joined them .
Tina and I were very close but Emilai and I had not been in touch for many years.

The separation was organic and without strife...now that she recently passed away the questions about who she was and what she wanted out of life hang over me.

Goodbye dear sister , join the rest of the family in that zone of THE PAST ...rest , and above all know your job on this earth is over.

This morning the sun shined on no 4th street Harrisburg and Nancy was not there. It searched the house and then kissed her pillow as it always does. As its golden light flowed through out the house it was joined by her light and together than rejoiced that her pain had finally stopped . As nancy and the sun danced around the house she was on her way to see everyone that loved her . Have you seen her yet? Did you feel her calm gentle voice in your ear?
I did ------because ------I heard a hebrew prayer and then her interpretation to me .....like we always did week after week You meant a lot to so many of us and like Mona said "we could always lean on you" I also heard a familiar

My sister Nancy has died and like all loss we are all numb ...
She gave us two years after her diagnosis to prepare for today
Then why do I hurt so bad this morning ? Why do I feel so desperate to speak to her again ? Why don't I want to accept she left me? My sister was a light and flow of love to all the family . How do we replace that ? I will always love you dear Nancy .
There will never be another Jay and Nancy in this world ...but I dedicate the balance of my life , to take your example and live with
meanifull purpose and integrity.. Jesse

GALLERIA J ANTONIO IS 50 yrs old this month.
It was 1975 when Julie Schaffer
( Julies Artisan Gallery 762 Madison Avenue ) and Rick called
Bob Guccione and sent a very young Jesse Gee and Jose Antonio Tormos to the double mansion at 14-16 east 67th street NY NY 10021.

Bob Guccione was delighted with the swim wear Jose had created from Hanes Mens Briefs and Hanes wife beaters . The rite-dyed cotton took excellent candy colored dye and made the collection a visual banquet . Bob Guccione kept the samples and used them in a 3 page fashion spread in his summer VIVA magazine. 1975

The credits were given to JOSE ANTONIO DESIGNS P O BOX NY NY 10024 AND THE REST IS HISTORY .
Checks came to us from all over America and Canada thus we were in business. 1975 to 2025 has lots of twists and turns . That's all in the book Im writing : who is Jesse Galvez ?

I am grateful to all the people who helped bring us to the present . Fiorrucci ,Mary Tyler Moore , Cher, Sally Struthers, Linda Lavin , Bill Cosby , The rock , Celia Cruz , Mark Anthony , Aron Faber ,Bob Gindi , and the list goes on . Women's wear daily , vogue , Hapres Bazaar , NBC Wpix11 and of course my love who died of AIDS in 1989 in my arms . JOSE ANTONIO TORMOS

I feel like a person at the academy awards of life...my mind flys over the years and It's to many to remember as I write this .

WHEN I REFLEX ON WHAT I MOST VALUE MY FIRST THOUGHT IS NOT MY ACHIEVMENTS AND POSSESIONS. I MAY TAKE PRIDE IN MY ACHIEVEMNTS even as i realize they are not what's most important in life . They are not essential to my happiness. The most important parts of my life are LOVE -PEACE-AND GRATITUDE . The love I give to my clients and friends and the love I receive give me depth and purpose
