Throwback to Mika Häkkinen project.

Häkkinen came to Artisans de Genève with a personalization that would reflect his philosophy in life: to keep moving forward, no matter what the obstacle. The Mika Häkkinen Challenge is the perfect blend of the classic watchmaking codes and the high-speed world of Formula 1.

The yellow accents, echoed by the natural Rubber B®️ rubber strap, pay direct tribute to the vivid bodywork colors of racing cars from that era, a striking touch within a composition dominated by shades of grey.

66g project was born from the vision of our client, Mr. V.A., an automotive tuner renowned on the European racing circuits of the 1970s for his relentless pursuit of lightness.

To reduce the original weight, the original case was reworked to integrate a titanium Grade 5®️ outer structure, engineered to reduce weight down to the gram.

A Titalyt®️treatment was applied through an electrochemical oxidation process, giving the metal a deep matte anthracite finish.

For 66g project, our ambition was to translate our client’s pursuit of lightness into a timepiece reduced to its purest essence.
