The EWT Laboratory’s Mechanical Nano programmeasks what becomes possible when energy is no longer a constraint – when mechanisms are designed to consume so little that their scale, their complexity, and their function must all be reconceived from first principles.

Nano Foudroyante (10th Invention):

The Mechanical Nano approach, protected by several patents, addresses the spatial and energy constraints inherent to mechanical watchmaking. It represents a shift in method rather than a single mechanism. These principles have already produced several operational systems, some of which can be considered fully functional prototypes. This research reached its first concrete expression with the Nano Foudroyante.

By rethinking energy transmission and consumption at the nanomechanical level, the Nano Foudroyante achieves an energy efficiency approximately 1,800 times greater than that of a traditional foudroyante mechanism. The Mechanical Nano approach will continue to evolve into multiple future inventions as development progresses.
